NIkita Series Finale "Cancelled"

When some series end the results are not what viewers expected. Nor what viewers wanted. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! The CW's Nikita ended after four seasons and six episodes and let me tell you it ended in true Nikita fashion.  The show about a woman and death row turned spy ended as it began, with  Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca against the world. The twists and turns reminded me of season 1 Division Nikita.  It picks up right where it left off with Nikita fighting The Group after Ryan's death in the previous episode.  Angry at everyone involved Nikita and Alex begin picking off every member of the group one by one in attempt to get the master list of what I like to call "clones". I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it but the scene between Amanda and Nikita is the showdown that we've been waiting for.  There's also a Nikita and Alex fight that didn't hurt either. The last few scenes show where everyone ends up and it's exactly what fan would've wondered about had they decided against it. While I'm sad to see Nikita go they definitely went out with a bang. It never received the credit it deserved but they made one hell of a show despite that.

Why Ryan Murphy's Glee Reveal Isn't News

In a year end article that was released earlier today Glee's executive producer, Ryan Murphy, revealed what was supposed to be the last scene of the series.  It consisted of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), by then a huge Broadway star, walking into Finn Hudson's (Cory Monteith) classroom and saying "I'm Home".  Yes this is an ending that Finchel fans would have killed for but it shouldn't be breaking news. Why? Well it's simple. This was already explained to us by Lea Michele herself in the Cory/Finn tribute episode, The Quaterback, earlier this season.  Rachel breaks down the would be Finchel moment in her dialogue in a scene in the choir room. Being that this information was already revealed as a fan I would be more interested in finding out what the season six story arc was supposed to be.  Murphy stated earlier this year that Glee would end after the 2014-2015 season with Finchel carrying most of the story.  I would also be more interested in finding out if the Glee writers have figured out how to end the show.  That would be more news worthy than something that most glee fans have already figured out.

Rogue Axed Out of X-Men

If you're a fan of the X-Men movies then you know that our beloved franchise was completely screwed by the third film in the original trilogy. I was extremely happy when it was announced that not only would the latest X film, "X-Men: Days of Future Past", feature the old school cast as well as the new but Bryan Singer would be back at the head of it all. Imagine my disappointment when Singer revealed that Rogue (played by True Blood's Anna Paquin) was being CUT OUT OF THE MOVIE. Apparently the action sequence that was being cut was Paquin's only appearance as the mutant who was central to the storyline in the first film. If you've been counting like I have we are now down three X-Men as Jean Grey and Cyclops were killed off in the movie that shall not be named. With Rogue gone a little of my hope for a great comeback goes with her. We'll have to wait until May 23, 2014 to find out.
